Your lie was very convincing, and I must say I almost felt bad about my comment yesterday. But upon further inspection, I have decided you were most definite referring to either myself, Maria, or both. Through a critical analysis of your writing I have used logic to determine your intentions. I will remind you that my logic is ruthless and infallible.
First, in our conversation yesterday you said you did not want to explicitly name RA’s, you said you did not want to mention the RA’s by name in your post to spare their feelings, you said in your post: “I'm not the only one who falls into that kind of pattern [I recall other RAs dissing their respective Professors before they all suddenly decided to love them]” and of course from this it is easy to conclude that we are part of said “other RAs.” When I asked you why you referred to them as such, you said you did not want to hurt anyone’s feelings by naming names. But in fact you did name people earlier in your post: “the other RAs are fun [like Jen and Christin!],” I find it interesting that you would name them at the beginning of the paragraph and then use the term “other RAs” later on. I find this inconsistency to actually reflect your true intentions.
Second when you said: “I recall other RAs dissing their respective Professors before they all suddenly decided to love them.” Why not say Dr. Burgess, why not name him, if you were talking about your lab mates? If in fact you were naming your lab mates why would you say their “respective professors” plural and not professor, and not just say Dr. Burgess. It occurs to me that maybe your other lab mates were talking badly about Dr. Burgess prior to working in lab. But then I realize that you did not know any of your lab mates until you all began working together. The fact that you just meet someone leads me to believe that they would not have such a personal conversation with you. Only someone you have known for a while, and someone who feels comfortable with you, would tell you their opinions about faculty. You behavior is at best shameful. I will say it again, if you are so inclined to refer to someone in the future, be explicit. You will leave me out of your childish ranting and immature writing, and if you have an issue, address it more directly.

actually your logic is based on findings that ''led you to believe'' such and such. Logic based on assumptions, as I know now more and more, is not good logic.

Much to the consistancy of what you stated yesterday, I usually name people specifically when it is in a positive light [something which I must address and counterbalance]. So why would I put someone out there if perhaps their opinions were not meant to be made so specifically public? Of course I wouldn't continue to name them.

By the way, nobody except us other RAs would know the nature of our relationships, and just because we did not know each other before being hired does not mean we didn't discuss actually being in the lab and the feelings we have about it, which would have brought up general comments on everybody involved. Come on Ismael, your logic is really stretching it. Try again. Your comment really hurt. But I decided you're far too arrogant to admit potentially being wrong, which you are.

By the way:
As seen on http://dictionary.reference.com/
Logic is defined as:
n 1: the branch of philosophy that analyzes inference
And inference:
n : the reasoning involved in drawing a conclusion or making a logical judgment on the basis of circumstantial evidence and prior conclusions rather than on the basis of direct observation.
The act or process of deriving logical conclusions from premises known or assumed to be true.
Just so you know, all logic is derived from assumptions or Premises.
As we see Premises:
To state or assume as a proposition in an argument.
A proposition upon which an argument is based or from which a conclusion is drawn.
Take a good look at philosophy, the subject you seem to know so well. Logic is taking basic assumptions, in this case, assumptions based on truth, and reasoning a conclusion. I suggest you take some time a read something by Plato or Aristotle, you may learn something.
